Samira
Houshiar D.D.S., the President of Feel The Beat Inc. Performing Arts
and Dance Studio, once had a Vision. Her vision was to have a place
where people of all ages could come together and develop their inner
self and be able to create and inspire through the art of Dance.
Samira has been dancing since she was just one year old. Growing up,
her passion and love for dance and music grew even stronger.
Taking jazz, ballet, and learning to belly dance and Persian dance was
part of her every day life. As an adult, while finishing collage at UC
Irvine, and graduate school at UCLA school of Dentistry, Samira,
continued dancing and developing her skills in all styles specially
ballroom dancing.

Catherine “Cat” Rajcic has been dancing professionally, teaching, coaching, and directing programs in the LA, Orange County, and San Diego areas since 2003. Cat has choreographed, produced, and directed the arrangements for local artists performances. Along with dancing for them in their shows. In 2007, Cat helped co-choreographed the All-star Hip Hop group’s guest performances and on 6 episodes of Reality Check with Carmen. Her choreography has won numerous awards across both Orange and LA County due to her several competitive dance teams. In 2009 Cat was in lexington Bridge's music video Dance With Me. As of 2009 Cat has been cheorapher’s assistant and dancer in the 2009 Rose Parade. She was dancing for the Jack-In-The-Box float which won most overall Spectacular Float. She was also a guest performer at the Jimmy Defore’s 2009 PLUSE show (it was a Contemporary piece entitled LOOPED) Cat prides herself on continuing her own training because she believes that a true dancer never stops learning. She continuously challenges herself by pushing the boundaries with new techniques and fusing dance styles together.
Before Shally Zomorodi could even talk, she was dancing. Growing up in
a musically talented family Shally has been exposed to Middle Eastern
Music for more than 30 years. While her father and brothers played many
musical instruments, Shally learned to dance. She began professionally
learning how to bellydance at the young age of only 4 years old. Over
the years she has trained with many bellydancers. Her passion for dance
led to her start teaching the art of bellydance.
Hoa Hoang has been practicing Yoga since 1992. After graduating from FIT in New York she studied Yoga in London and now in California.
Courtney Mccall is very talented in regards to
not only teaching ballet, jazz, lyrical etc. but working with younger
kids. Her patience and careful explanations about various dance
movements for younger children sets her apart from all others. Although
very technique oriented, Courtney's main goal is to make sure each
child develops her love for dance while he/she has lots of fun dancing.
Mariko Crane is a Santa Barbara
California native. She preformed
as a professional ballerina in New York, California and Texas. Her dancing career ended prematurely
due to a fractured hip. This
injury inspired her to further her studies in Pilates, which developed into a
full time career in fitness. Mariko teaches all fitness disciplines and is also
a personal trainer. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge of fitness
which includes Zumba, aerobics, sculpting, Pilates, and yoga. Her real passion is Zumba because it
combines Latin rhythms and exercise moves into one workout. Zumba is a great
way to burn calories, have fun, and learn dance moves. Mariko appeared on the
1998 U. S. Postage Stamp representing American Ballet. She has received
numerous awards including first place from the National Margot Fonteyn
Competition. Her many
certifications offer students a myriad of benefits and her Pilates training
allows her to use good judgment with all types of injuries. Rebecca Ramirez
Rebecca began studying both piano and violin at age two and a half. Having emerged from generations of musicians, she became dedicated to her musical studies and learned over six different instruments throughout her childhood. Sharing her love for music through performance, she began playing at both local and international events at the age of 13. Rebecca currently plays the harp and piano, both as a soloist and in ensembles.
Rebecca is proficient in piano, concert harp, and voice and has taught music privately as well as in school orchestras, choir, piano ensembles, preschool music classes and baby music movement classes for over 16 years. Her musical education includes an emphasis in piano accompaniment, music pedagogy, early childhood music development and a Kindermusik® educator certification.
As the founder and executive director of Learning Music, Inc., Rebecca’s goal is to establish music programs and lessons in select areas throughout Southern California. Her programs have been successful because she carefully appoints teachers and artistic staff who share her same direction and passion for teaching. They show a consistent and effective system of teaching by providing students with an encouraging and positive way to experience and learn music. It is Rebecca’s mission to provide flexible programs that can accommodate every student’s musical needs and desires as they grow and develop as musicians.
